1:17. അവൾ അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: എന്റെ യജമാനനേ, നിന്റെ മകൻ ശലോമോൻ എന്റെ അനന്തരവനായി വാണു എന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തിൽ ഇരിക്കും എന്നു നീ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തിൽ അടിയനോടു സത്യം ചെയ്തുവല്ലോ.

1:17. She replied to him, "My master, you swore an oath to your servant by the LORD your God, 'Solomon your son will be king after me and he will sit on my throne.'

1:17. She replied, "My lord, you made a vow before the LORD your God when you said to me, 'Your son Solomon will surely be the next king and will sit on my throne.'

1:17. And she said unto him, My lord, thou swarest by Jehovah thy God unto thy handmaid, saying, Assuredly Solomon thy son shall reign after me, and he shall sit upon my throne.

1:17. She said to him, "My lord, you swore to your servant by the LORD your God, saying, 'Solomon your son shall reign after me, and he shall sit on my throne.'

1:17. And she said unto him, My lord, thou swarest by the LORD thy God unto thine handmaid, [saying,] Assuredly Solomon thy son shall reign after me, and he shall sit upon my throne.

1:17. She said to him, "My lord, you swore to your maidservant by the LORD your God, saying, `Solomon your son shall reign after me, and he shall sit upon my throne.'

1:17. And she said unto him, My lord, thou swarest by the LORD thy God unto thine handmaid, {cf15i saying}, Assuredly Solomon thy son shall reign after me, and he shah sit upon my throne.

1:17. And she saith to him, `My lord, thou hast sworn by Jehovah thy God to thy handmaid: Surely Solomon thy son doth reign after me, and he doth sit on my throne;

1:17. Bathsheba answered, "Sir, you used the name of the Lord your God and made a promise to me. You said, 'Your son Solomon will be the next king after me. He will sit on my throne.'

1:17. She said to him, My lord, you swore by Yahweh your God to your handmaid, saying, Assuredly Solomon your son shall reign after me, and he shall sit on my throne.
